http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=972099 Bug ID: 972099 Summary: Gnome taking focus when running a VM on virtualbox Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.1 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME Assignee: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: hkuehnemund@suse.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- issue: LEAP 42.1, latest updates installed, running GNOME and there a Windows 7 VM on virtualbox (the version coming with LEAP 42.1). What happens now is that GNOME every now and then is taking the focus, means, mouse clicks and keyboard go nowhere. Example: pressing ALT+F4 does not close the active application window on Windows 7, but showing a popup to shutdown the virtual machine. This only happens on GNOME, running Windows 7 on virtualbox on KDE did not show this issue in the last 6 weeks I was using it. expected result: GNOME not taking focus -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

The openSUSE 42.1 changed to end-of-life (EOL [1]) status. As such it is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of openSUSE, or you can still observe it under openSUSE Leap 15.0, please feel free to reopen this bug against that version (see the "Version" component in the bug fields), or alternatively open a new ticket. Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed during the lifetime of the release.
