our out-of-tree driver has a module parameter to control this behavior.
Is there any plan to fix this or at least get the module param into the upstream Kernel? In the meantime I will backport this param to 2.6.31 for openSUSE 11.2 -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Created an attachment (id=365642) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=365642) [details] proposed patch for upstream
I've proposed this patch to go upstream, testing would be appreciated. Testing is in progress here. Beware I only compile tested it.
Did this get accepted upstream in any form? Do you have the commit id? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

My apologies, I was out of town on extended business and did not have the opportunity to try this kernel. I just recently updated to 2.6.31.14.0.4-desktop and the driver in that build did not work; I had to manually install the Intel driver.
Has bnc592668 been incorporated yet? DO you still need me to test?
It has not been incorporated. If you could test to confirm it works on 2.6.31 I will do that. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
