[Bug 475984] New: Adding a Software Pattern After Installation does Not Install the Pattern
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=475984 Summary: Adding a Software Pattern After Installation does Not Install the Pattern Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: alpha096@virginbroadband.com.au QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/2009012700 SUSE/3.0.6-0.1 Firefox/3.0.6 I installed a default patterns of KDE adding File/Miscellaneous/Network Administration Groups and completed the Installation. I then went back via Software Management and selected the 32-Bit Run Time Environment and chose Accept - Nothing was installed. It is apparent that a user cannot install the 32-Bit Run Time Pattern after the initial Installation has been completed. It would appear that most all other Pattern Groups ARE added to the previous installation but needs further testing. The 32-Bit Pattern will NEVER install after the initial complete installation is finalised Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open Software Manager After a Default Pattern KDE Installation was performed. 2.Change the Filter to Patterns 3.Select the 32-Bit Run Time Pattern 4.Accept 5.Nothing Happens Actual Results: The 32-Bit Pattern is not installed Expected Results: ANY Pattern should be able to by installed or removed by selecting or deselecting the Filter Pattern -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
