I'm not completely sure how to disable a plugin by default in evo, though. Any hint? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

But when you install a rpm, by default you want the plugin enabled, than explicitly asking the user to enable the plugin in the Evolution window after installing the plugin rpm. "/apps/evolution/eplugin/disabled" is the gconf key that keeps track of which plugins are enabled, and the ones which are disabled. The only possibility is to disable this rpm in the default installation of the DVDs. I think that is the neat way. But if that is not possible now, then we would have to modify the tracker code to set the gconf key and keep the plugin disabled even on installing the rpm. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=680377 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=680377#c3 --- Comment #3 from Vincent Untz <vuntz@novell.com> 2011-03-22 09:09:14 UTC --- We can't change anything in the default installation now: it's too late. We also can't change the gconf key from the package of the plugin; the only place where we can change it is in gconf2-branding-openSUSE... And it won't work for users who have changed their list of plugins. So, for 11.4+1, we can file a bug to not install this plugin by default (easy). For 11.4, I'm really not sure what's best to do here. We can either update to new code that won't have the issue, or simply "kill the code" by disabling it forcefully... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Can someone conform this so we can close the bug as fixed under openSUSE 12.1 ? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in openSUSE since the time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a current, supported openSUSE version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly reopen this bug and move it to the tested version of openSUSE. Truly yours. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
