There we go: you have manual installed libraries for libpt and libopal on your system, which seem to conflict. Clean those up and use the ones provided in the packages, and you'll be fine. (/usr/local/lib(64)? has precendence over /usr/lib(64)? ) Please verify... very likely that's all. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

You are right. - I have renamed my local variants of these libraries for another test.
Clean those up and use the ones provided in the packages, and you'll be fine.
Now the application is started successfully. I guess that we need to be more careful with parallel installations of the needed software. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Your libopal was likely built with less capability and thus causes this issue. There is nothing we can do in order to prevent a local trashing his system by not using packaged versions... sorry. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
