[Bug 264699] New: Kerberos man pages krb5.conf(5) etc. missing
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=264699 Summary: Kerberos man pages krb5.conf(5) etc. missing Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 10.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Security AssignedTo: security-team@suse.de ReportedBy: Markus.Kuhn@cl.cam.ac.uk QAContact: qa@suse.de "man kerberos" promises the existence of a man page krb5.conf(5), but none is contained in any of the following krb5 RPMs: krb5-doc-1.5.1-27 MIT Kerberos5 Implementation--Documentation krb5-client-1.5.1-23 MIT Kerberos5 implementation - client programms krb5-1.5.1-23.4 MIT Kerberos5 Implementation--Libraries ^ ^^^^ (Cosmetics: note inconsistent use of dashes and capitalization in the description strings) Note that krb5.conf is read by kinit and mentioned in kerberos(1), so it should really be included in krb5-client (or one of its prerequisites). There may be other important Kerberos man pages missing as well, haven't checked them all yet. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=264699 mc@novell.com changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution| |FIXED ------- Comment #1 from mc@novell.com 2007-04-16 02:24 MST ------- Yes, this krb5.conf manpage is in krb5-server (openSUSE 10.2). I already moved it to krb5-client package in FACTORY (next version of openSUSE). I think we will not fix this for 10.2 but for the next version it is fixed now. Thanks for your report. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
