There was a thread about recent libpoppler changes here this/last week. Akira sent fixed .cc files AFAIR.
poppler is as usual a pain ...

Have tested yet an other change on top of
texlive-20170524-source-poppler059-1.patch
which I've get from Akira Kakuto one of the pdftex upstream people. It works!
Thanks for chasing this and testing. I'll put poppler back into the active backlog then. Which package from the tex* family will I get as an update into the TW queue and when could this be? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

All pdftex based formats as well as all luatex based formats (like pdftex, pdflatex, luatex, lualatex, ...) ... should be detectable by using the automagic dependency for libpoppler found during build -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
