Running with latest packages but disabled wlan works fine. Even switching on wlan via the switch afterwards works. hald just crashes when it is enabled at boot time. Note the the three last lines from hald before sig11: 16:37:07.597 [I] device.c:4829: add_dev: subsys=pci sysfs_path=/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:00.0 dev= parent_dev=0x00000000 16:37:07.600 [I] device_info.c:1026: Spawning new device object '/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/dell_wwan_switch' caused by <spawn> on udi '/org /freedesktop/Hal/devices/pci_8086_27a0' 16:37:07.600 [W] device_info.c:1114: Unhandled rule (758133039)! -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

But it keeps crashing on next reboot. running fdi-cache cleanup helps again. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
