Created attachment 661188 [details] this is y2log from one or two attempts to add a route
I am trying to add the following default route:
fe80::1 dev eth0
With YasT, it simply doesn't work. /etc/sysconfig/network/routes is never modified, I see no error messages, and the current route table isn't changed either. When I manually add it to /etc/sysconfig/network/routes, it works fine.
FYI, the same applies in openSUSE 13.2. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

if /etc/sysconfig/network/ifroute-eth0 created / updated when you try to add the route?
The system I was testing on has been delivered to a customer, I'll check to see if I still have access. On a seperate desktop test system (office34), /etc/sysconfig/network/routes is created empty, and /etc/sysconfig/network/ifroute-eth0 has the correct entry. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Per interface specific routes are written into "ifroute-*" file. However, if it was written correctly but not "activated" then it deserve further investigation.
I'll try to reproduce it locally.
I can't reproduce. I would prefer to just have routes in "routes", but that's cosmetic. I'm closing this, if I see it again I'll reopen. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
