[Bug 458083] New: [build service] osc importsrcpkg keep src pkgs, incorrect help and set url
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=458083 Summary: [build service] osc importsrcpkg keep src pkgs, incorrect help and set url Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: 32bit OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: richard.bos@xs4all.nl QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Community User I Included 3 small wished in this bug report. In case they should be in 3 seperate reports, please let me know. I thought that there was a bugzilla component for the build service, I did not find it :( I'm about to add about 30 packages to the buildserver. I want to do this with osc importsrcpkg. But I encounter some inconveniences. Perhaps they can be added. 1) osc build is not able or does not keep src.rpms when the option --keep-pkgs is used. This is inconvenient as I want to use the src rpms to import them to the BS. I got the src rpm, by adding a cp command in my script. It would be better to have an option like --keep-src-pkgs 2) The osc help importsrcpkg does not seem to correct: It states: " If the --disable-commit switch is not used all changes will be committed.". While there is no --disable-commit listed in the help. When I use the command osc importsrcpkg, the files are _not_ committed to the BS, I have to commit the package myself. 3) After importing the src pkg the URL tag in meta data of the package is empty, while the information is available. Would it be possible to extract the URL information from the spec file and it to the meta data during the import? horde-cli> grep -i URL *spec Url: http://pear.horde.org/index.php?package=%{prj} horde-cli> osc meta pkg server:Kolab:UNSTABLE horde-cli | grep url <url>PUT_UPSTREAM_URL_HERE</url> (Is is possible to easily update the <url> tag with a script, using osc or something else from the osc family?) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
