How did you want to boot Linux, from internal or external disk? The disks order is probably what was wrong, you must check and correct it in the boot proposal... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I have a SATA Harddisk fixed in the PC and a USB external Harddisk (250 GB) on which I installed SUSE 11. I fixed the MBR with my XP installing CD. Then xp was running again. After that I tried the automatic repair from SUSE 11 which was installing a new Bootloader. As I tried to start tne PC after that I had the same Error again. Can you send me more information how to change the boot proposal?? Thank you! -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

You can start the installation, when YaST comes up, switch to 2nd console, mount the system and grab the data. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
