I am running openSUSE 11.0 x86_64, but because of the lack of a 64-bit Java plugin, I've installed the i586 versions of Firefox and Java: java-1_6_0-sun-1.6.0.u6-8.1 java-1_6_0-sun-jdbc-1.6.0.u6-8.1 java-1_6_0-sun-plugin-1.6.0.u6-8.1 java-1_6_0-sun-demo-1.6.0.u6-8.1 java-1_6_0-sun-devel-1.6.0.u6-8.1 java-1_6_0-sun-alsa-1.6.0.u6-8.1 MozillaFirefox-3.0.1-1.1 The Java plugin seems to be working fine otherwise. The javax.crypt.SunJCE_b is in jce.jar, which is always installed in /usr/lib(64)/jvm/java/jre/lib/jce.jar (it's a part of core package). The only one possibility is that you're using the 32bit JVM on 64bit machine. Can you try the new openjdk6 b11 (with a support for signed applets)? The package is in Java:openjdk6:Factory and have a native 64bit Java plugin. This may helps. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

We use a same binaries provided by Sun, as Ubuntu and other distros, so there should be no difference.
