In the installed system the symlinks from libmysqlclient_r18 are missing, although rpm lists the package as installed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. compile pdns against openSUSE_12.x:Update in OBS (original case was xbmc from PMBS in Multimedia) Perhaps this is reproducible in stock system also, install libmysqlclient_r18, then libmysqlclient18, then libmysqlclient-devel, manually, using --force, as done in OBS' buildroot setup.
