I personally use "URL" type when adding a new source - I cut&paste the URL there, it's even more convenient... I think that to have two parts is more understable, esp. for beginners. If someone is browsing http://software.opensuse.org/download/ and wats to add one of those repositories then he have to mark twiece and be verry careful and preciseble, and add to two fields in yast "source window add". In my case the adding one - whole adress to the one edit field is twice faster and clearer. Mayby adding in this way coloud be much better: http://software.opensuse.org/download/KDE:/KDE3/SUSE_Linux_10.1/ - you just mark whole adres by mouse clickin twince on the adres bar of the webbrowser. In "inst_source" there are "missing" buttons (not list!): "refresh all" "On/Off all" and one column - refresh. 4. To comment #8: "community repositories" have been integrated into "inst_source" To comment #10: in openSUSE-11.0 "inst_source" and "sw_single" are integrated ("inst_source" can be started from "sw_single") Refresh all is also there. To comment #11: the name is optional, if you don't enter anything yast will propose one automatically. If I missed something then create a separate bug report.
