https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=421726 Summary: Zypper Update- / Installation-Problems Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Update Problems AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: thomes-j@bluewin.ch QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: Customer Sometimes when I try to install or update software with "zypper", I get the following error: Problem downloading the package file from the repository: Can't provide ./rpm/i586/libpulse0-0.9.10-26.5.i586.rpm : Can't copy /var/adm/mount/AP_0x00000001/rpm/i586/libpulse0-0.9.10-26.5.i586.rpm to /var/cache/zypp/packages/openSUSE-11.0-Updates Repository 'openSUSE-11.0-Updates' is out of date. Running 'zypper refresh' might help. It's not always the same rpm-file, which can't be copied to "/var/adm/mount...". After running "zypper refresh", the problem still persists. But I can try to switch to the orginal opensuse-mirrors and try to update again. But this time i noticed a problem in the log. It seems that curl received a 304 response while no file was there at the destination. 304 should only happen if the file being downloaded (http://download.opensuse.org/update/11.0/rpm/i586/kdenetwork3-InstantMesseng... in this case) exists at the destination (/var/adm/mount/AP_0x00000002/rpm/i586/kdenetwork3-InstantMessenger-3.5.9-39.1_39.2.i586.delta.rpm) and has the same timestamp (which is 0 in this case). But in this case 'dest' does not exist. Michal, Peter, any idea how this could happen?
