[Bug 214591] New: SMB Spool does not accept kbr ticket's
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=214591 Summary: SMB Spool does not accept kbr ticket's Product: SUSE Linux 10.1 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: SuSE Linux 10.1 Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: Printing AssignedTo: jsmeix@novell.com ReportedBy: albert@realopenit.nl QAContact: jsmeix@novell.com Don't really know if this is a bug. I used to be listed on bugzilla.samba.org under number 1780. It resulted in a patch, which Jerry said got merged. I could really use this functionality to enable my AD printers to work with the (local cups running) Linux Clients, for my customers. So am wondering if it's possible to built in? Or do i need to compile it myself, or did I not get the list information right :) (offcourse i'd rather keep the SuSE precompiled's.) https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=214591 jsmeix@novell.com changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution| |FIXED ------- Comment #1 from jsmeix@novell.com 2006-10-24 05:56 MST ------- SUSE Linux 10.1 does not support printing with Kerberos tickets. At the moment Kerberos stuff is added to CUPS 1.2. When it is ready implemented in CUPS and Samba (i.e. /usr/bin/smbspool) we will have it automatically in a matching future product. At the moment all you can do is to compile newest software on your own but note that we do not support self-compiled software (e.g. when you have a support contract with us). It is a valid enhancement request for SUSE Linux 10.1 and because it will be fixed automatically in a future product I close this report as "fixed" (but I don't know if openSUSE 10.2 will support it or if a more future product will support it). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
