Problem: zypper-1.11.16-1.1.x86_64 requires libzypp.so.1430()(64bit), but this requirement cannot be provided uninstallable providers: libzypp-14.30.2-1.1.x86_64[factory] Solution 1: deinstallation of libyui-gtk-pkg6-2.43.2-3.3.x86_64 Solution 2: do not install zypper-1.11.16-1.1.x86_64 Solution 3: break zypper-1.11.16-1.1.x86_64 by ignoring some of its dependencies Choose from above solutions by number or cancel [1/2/3/c] (c): 1 Resolving dependencies... This does not mean its a zypper/libzypp bug (and I agree it does not appear to be one); it's still an upgrade bug, though.
Well, if you do a dist upgrade (zypper dup) the libyui-gtk-pkg6 should be removed, as it appears to be dropped from factory. "Normal' operations (in,up) however will report the conflict and you have to decide. Probably a somewhat factory specific issue, as ordinary distros don't drop packages within their lifetime. @Martin: Was libyui-gtk-pkg6 dropped from factory or is it just missing? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
