Have no reverted back to 42.2 for the time being. I am very disappointed with openSUSE on this subject; how something could work perfectly on 42.2 but be completely broken on 42.3 is beyond me.

You maybe would understand better if you have into account that a new version comes with different drivers, different version of systemd and a lot of changes in many subsystems. Offering a new version of a Linux distribution is not as simple as you seem to think.
