After installing 12.3 Milestone 2, all I can manage is a 640x480 screen. There seems to be no way to adjust it even with guest additions installed. I have VirtualBox 4.2.4 running on a Dell D830 laptop on openSUSE 12.2. After installing 12.3 Milestone 2,
install 12.3 as VM,right?
all I can manage is a 640x480 screen. There seems to be no way to adjust it even with guest additions installed.

You are correct. Host machine is a Dell D830 running openSUSE 12.2 with Virtualbox 4.2.4 (from the build service). Install 12.3 Milestone 2 as a VM. All through the install the virtual screen window is a usable size like 1024x768. After first boot, the virtual screen is 640x480 and there seems to be no way to set the size to anything else.
