Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Milestone 5 Platform: i586 OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: osl2008@googlemail.com QAContact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=449363) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=449363) installation logs User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:5.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/5.0 Fresh install of 12.1 Milestone 5 on Old HP Pavilion laptop. Mainly defaults used but btrfs selected Re-boot during installation fails with /sbin/fsck.btrfs not found (enters maintenance mode instead of booting properly). Indeed there is no /sbin/fsck.btrfs though the ext{2,3,4} variants are present. Simple fix was to create such a file using "ln -s /bin/true /sbin/fsck.btrfs" - after this it boots as expected. Y2log attached Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install and select btrfs 2. 3. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I just replicated Bug #714650 on vmware and my "fix" worked there too. -Richard -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I should get it back in time to test RC1 on it.
