What's the permission error? I'm running a production server for our Chinese community for almost a year now. (200+ registants) I didn't see any error output in /var/log/prosody/prosody.err or in console. I just took a look on my server, /var/lib/prosody is empty... 2. I'm sorry I have to reject the request (But I'll update the package of course). Because devel:languages:lua is an official devel repository, which doesn't allow the usage of _service files. (Packages here will be submitted to openSUSE:Factory, which will be splited as openSUSE:13.2. So we can't make it rebuild frequently.) Anyway, _service file is just a helper for home repository. 3. I'm not a maintainer of server:messaging. I can't link. And personally I prefer not to link. Actually I submitted a request to delete the package in server:messaging some days ago. Because: 3.1 server:messaging is a less responsive repository, I waited for months to get a version update accepted last year and this year. 3.2 prosody is a pure lua package. it depends on various lua packages. If it resides in server:messaging, you have to link all of such lua dependencies there. Then actually it's almost a copy of devel:languages:lua. Ok thanks for clarification 3. But the package logically belongs there, so we could make a link and link also project devel:languages:lua as described in https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Build_Service_Concept_project_linking. Something similar is done in KDE repos. The point is that logical structure of OBS should be preserved (description of server:messaging - "Packages related to e-mail and instant messaging." and description of devel:languages:lua - "This is the development repository of the Lua programming language and its 3rd party modules for openSUSE.") By this proposed solution you still can upgrade often, develop in devel:languages:lua and still the server:messaging repository will preserve its function.
