It does appear from that there is no 5000-3, nor 5000-4 nor 5000-5 firmware.
Yeah, factory contains old firmware package. Problem: Package "kernel-firmware-20110709-8.1.noarch" was not installed during system-installation. Solution: After installation of "kernel-firmware-20110709-8.1.noarch" from openSUSE 12.1 MS 5 x86_64 DVD, my Intel 5300 is working now.
