[Bug 350967] New: Add RealPlayer 6970:7170 to Firewall Configuration
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=350967 Summary: Add RealPlayer 6970:7170 to Firewall Configuration Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: Other URL: http://service.real.com/firewall/adminfw.html OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: bryce1@obviously.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- This is a request to add RealPlayer UDP 6970:7170 To the list of preconfigured services. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Additionally it would be great if under "advanced" you could add both a service and a comment, e.g.: UDP 6970:7170 - RealPlayer Otherwise it's easy to forget which ports were opened for which reason. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- And back at the main screen, it would be nice if you could see the definition of each service. For example see the difference between the two preconfigured entries "SSH" and "Secure Shell Server". It would be great to see what ports each service is opening, without having to use "iptables --list". -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

But, I have a RealPlayer on testing machine with enabled Suse Firewall (only SSH service is allowed in External Zone) and RP works without any problem ... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

A client side program that listens on ports for incoming traffic really has problem nowadays with masquerading used everywhere. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
