FWIW, problem remains in 42.2 and TW 20170505
Again, there is no problem. This is just a harmless warning, and caused by the fact how the openSUSE merges the config to take the settings from /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager into account as well. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

I guess this should be mentioned to the people who merge config files for releases so hopefully all merged config files in the future are clean e.g. old keywords removed etc.
You misunderstand. Nobody "merges" kdm config files for releases. This is done automatically on runtime when kdm starts. Some settings are taken from /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager, a new config file is created from them and then merged with the standard one. TBH, I very much doubt that this can even be "fixed", without dropping support for /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager completely (which would cause other bug reports). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

ok, thanks. let hope that going forward on other software (obviously not kdm) when this sort of process takes place that an auto-merge doesn't create these minor issues -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
