Not sure what the resolution should be; surely not FIXED, most fitting would IMHO be WORKAROUND bug bugzilla doesn't offer that anymore. Perhaps UPSTREAM as the need for "iommu=pt" is gone with newer kernel but an issue remains. While I would like to pursue the IO_PAGE_FAULT events flooding, it doesn't feel right to hijack this bug for it. I'll open a new one for it - and perhaps on bugzilla.kernel.org rather than here.
