There is nothing left to do in sysconfig as the sysconfig changes have been submitted and are accepted in factory + sle15sp1 8 months ago (comment 45), thus fixed. Also [...] the sssd issue mentioned above and other adjustments I'm aware of are submitted.
Right, sysconfig is fixed in Factory and SLE 15 SP1, but the package *still* somehow hasn't been updated in Leap 15.1. I thought Leap was supposed to automatically receive SLE patches?
Yes, this is done by some UpdateCrawler script, see: https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/678259 https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/SUSE:SLE-15-SP1:Update/sysconfig
It appears there is a package in 15.1-test: http://download.opensuse.org/update/leap/15.1-test/x86_64/sysconfig- netconfig-0.85.3-lp151.2.3.1.x86_64.rpm
Note the date (Sept. 4 -- most packages in 15.1-test are much more recent)... usually I see packages appear in the test repo for a couple weeks or so, and then be deleted from there once the official update is released. Was there some test failure preventing such? I don't now how to check on that (or is it internal to SUSE?).
I've no idea how this works. Ludwig, may you help to discover what's going wrong here? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
