Therefore, I close it as INVALID. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

It is on AC power but the icon shows the battery as when it is off. It is easy to reproduce this desynchronization either way. % cat /proc/acpi/battery/BAT0/state present: yes capacity state: ok charging state: charged present rate: 0 mW remaining capacity: 33860 mWh present voltage: 11709 mV % cat /proc/acpi/battery/BAT0/info present: yes design capacity: 56160 mWh last full capacity: 55370 mWh battery technology: rechargeable design voltage: 10800 mV design capacity warning: 2768 mWh design capacity low: 200 mWh capacity granularity 1: 1 mWh capacity granularity 2: 1 mWh model number: 42T5264 serial number: 2215 battery type: LION OEM info: Panasonic -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=550860 User riggwelter@opensuse.org added comment http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=550860#c4 --- Comment #4 from James Ogley <riggwelter@opensuse.org> 2009-11-07 04:48:52 MST --- Changing this slightly - seems GPM isn't picking up changes in battery state - whatever state it's in when GPM starts (or resumes from hibernation), that's what it shows. I can't change the summary myself though. Also, it's not just x86_64 - I'm on 32bit. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Not likely, you have already upgraded to newer versions of openSUSE, which had a lot more bug fixes. As openSUSE 11.2 is no longer maintained (for a long time already) and I can't seem to reproduce anything similar in openSUSE 12.1 / 12.2 RC, I close the bug as 'FIXED'. Should you be able to reproduce this issue on a newer openSUSE version, please feel to report it again. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
