https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=272853 lrupp@novell.com changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution| |WONTFIX ------- Comment #1 from lrupp@novell.com 2007-05-10 14:44 MST ------- This is an "error" in /work/cd/lib/mach_cd/templates/YAST2_DEPEND : yast2-tv: kdetv alevt nxtvepg zapping motv kradio lirc v4l-tools As we already ignore some of those dependencies for SLED, we can do this for the 1CD iso, too. Closing this as "WONTFIX" as this is is misleadingly no yast2-tv bug (but a bug in my brain, sorry). The only question left behind: does yast2-tv make use of any of this packages like v4l-tools ? Otherwise we should really ignore this list. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=272853 ------- Comment #2 from lslezak@novell.com 2007-05-11 05:10 MST ------- Yes, yast2-tv uses v4l-tools (HW query and channel scanning) and lirc (RC setup). The other packages are for watching TV, user doesn't have to start package management and search a suitable application. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=272853 ------- Comment #3 from lrupp@novell.com 2007-05-11 06:14 MST ------- ok: re-added v4l-tools and lirc to the media. But why are the TV apps in the requirement list? Does the yast2-tv module configure the TV apps? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=272853 ------- Comment #4 from lslezak@novell.com 2007-05-11 06:37 MST ------- No, except writing the channel configuration to /etc/X11/xawtv. As I wrote in comment #2, they are installed just to avoid problems with installation of a suitable application for watching TV. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
