xrandr seems to be the only missing one:
No, there's nothing useful in the YasT logs for us. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

You need to say what you want, otherwise I can only guess. I sent everything that is in the list, except Xorg.log, because currently I am running with no configuration file at all (as I listed in the testcases). Wanted one? OK, here you have it, it is the output of 'X -configure', and it behaves in exactly the same way. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Created an attachment (id=291638) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=291638) [details] Xorg.0.log (2nd monitor disconnected)
Yes, I forgot that I had another monitor connected on the digital port (from older tests). That monitor was off.
Fortunately most customers don't use such a setup. ;-)
What I did: 1. switched it on - it also had a corrupted picture (everything just 1 color) 2. disconnected and restarted X server - analog monitor still had the same problem 3. rebooted machine with the monitor disconnected 4. started X - now worked OK (this one Xorg.0.log)
Ok. Finally.
Conclusions: - 'nv' works fine with one monitor on the analog port - 'nv' works wrong with two monitors - something needs to restart the whole machine to notice the change
As said before you can experiment with 'Option "CrtcNumber"' to workaround such issues.
I don't know how much it should work for multiple monitors - reclassify the bug as you wish.
WONTFIX. Usual customers with two monitors don't switch one of them off and forget about it afterwards. And if they want to use two monitors they switch to NVIDIA anyway due to the limitations of nv driver. BTW, I would really recommmend to use a config file to specify your monitor, otherwise you end up with 800x600 as resolution as I can see in your latest logfile. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
