Each time it was over before I could read anything. The first seemed to fail at about 1.4 seconds. The second two after about 3 seconds (got to see green oks on the screen the second two times. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1011254 http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1011254#c6 --- Comment #6 from Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.com> --- Also, you can try the older kernel, e.g. openSUSE Leap 42.1 kernel: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Kernel:/openSUSE-42.1/standard/ Installing this might need a force option, and it'd be easier directly with rpm: % rpm -ivh --force --nodeps kernel-default-4.1*.rpm (Here you must use -i, *not* -U, in order to keep multiple kernels.) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

I have tried: kernel-default-4.1.35-12.1.g2e75991.x86_64.rpm and kernel-default-4.8.10-1.1.gd1ec066.x86_64.rpm These are on my computer-as-installed not the install usb. The fail time of the reboots is inconsistent. The longest is about 6 seconds. Most are around 3. I have another, older bug request relating to random reboots (fixed by nohz=off) here that may be relevant and never got fully diagnosed: https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=990003 Fwiw nohz=off does not work in this case. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
