I.e. I branched, did the changes, and now wanted to write the patchinfo: % cd home:matz2:branches:openSUSE:11.3:Update:Test/gcc45 % osc patchinfo This command must be called in a checked out project. Aha, okay, strange, but whatever... % cd .. % osc patchinfo Created ... [something with _patchinfo in it] ... .. edit edit, quit ... % ls gcc45/ _patchinfo:/ Huh? Now there's a package named '_patchinfo:' ? % ls _patchinfo:/ _patchinfo Ah okay, still strange, but as long as it works, what do I care. Let's check it in: % osc ci WARNING: validator directory /usr/lib/osc/source_validators configured, but not existing. Skipping ... Sending _patchinfo Transmitting file data . Committed revision 2. Fine. Everything worked. Or not. Looking at build.opensuse.org I now indeed see the strange '_patchinfo:' package, containing only one file. It is in 'broken' state (no wonder, it's not really a package, with say, an spec file). So, how's this supposed to work? I'm most probably not supposed to submitreq this package into the Update:Test repo, am I?
