My settings says that only files with a size less than 10MB should show thumbnails, but it doesn't work. Nautilus creates thumbnails for files with more than 10MB. The problem is that, even after the thumbnail has been created correctly for big files (wich is done very quickly actually), Nautilus keeps accessing the hard drive and increasing memory usage. When I close the Nautilus window it stops accessing the HD, and the memory is freed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a Nautilus window. 2. Set the thumbnail limit size to 10MB (is the default) 3. Navigate to a folder with a file (eg video) bigger than 10MB. Actual Results: Nautilus creates a thumbnail for the file. It uses a lot of memory and access the hard drive alot.
