https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=232507 ------- Comment #5 from andreas.hanke@gmx-topmail.de 2007-01-08 14:45 MST ------- OK. This package is unsupported(!), but still broken because /opt/gnome/bin cannot be assumed to be in PATH in rpm script slots. There are more things broken, e.g. it seems to completely ignore SUSE packaging conventions, tries to remove gconf schemas on update, runs /sbin/ldconfig unnecessarily, uses %_smp_mflags which doesn't exist on SUSE Linux etc. Comment 1 isn't correct, the gconftool-2 invocation cannot work this way even if gconf2 is installed first because gconftool-2 has to be called with the absolute path. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

Either use old-style %post only in /opt/gnome, or use 10.3 gconf macros. Reassigning to most probable packager. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=232507 ------- Comment #7 from james@usr-local-bin.org 2007-01-18 17:33 MST ------- I have no recollection of packaging this but since I'm in the changelog I suppose I must have done. I must have been drunk at the time though since I've not touched the provided spec file except to force it to build (eg sysconfdir not specified for <= 10.2, too many wildcards - almost tempted to suggest someone else did it and used my email address in the changelog for some reason). Hoped it was a one-line fix, but this needs serious digging into - will do so when I have time. Typing this as an fyi for those interested. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
