https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=467513 User vkrevs@yahoo.com added comment https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=467513#c3 --- Comment #3 from Vadim Krevs <vkrevs@yahoo.com> 2009-02-02 03:18:38 MST --- Actually no, I cannot. I've installed the kernel-debug package without any proprietary drivers and verified (over the course of several days) that the heci module no longer writes anything to syslog. Then I started enabling the cisco vpn, vmware and nvidia proprietary drivers one at a time to see which one would trigger appearance of the above-mentioned messages. As soon as the nvidia proprietary driver was loaded, the heci syslog messages immediately reappeared. Unfortunately, it looks as if I will need to blacklist the heci driver, as the free nv driver cannot cope with my dual screen setup at all, while the nvidia driver has no problem with it ... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
