[Bug 1209607] New: Request: 'kubescape' project

https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1209607 Bug ID: 1209607 Summary: Request: 'kubescape' project Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: BuildService Assignee: screening-team-bugs@suse.de Reporter: craigb@armosec.io QA Contact: adrian.schroeter@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- I work on the Kubescape open source project (http://github.com/kubescape/kubesacpe), and we have an intern doing some build work for us. He is an OpenSUSE member and has set up OBS to build to his home: project. Can we please get a project created for kubescape so we can start publishing there? Projects look like they predominantly fit under headings, and I don't see one for "CNCF", so perhaps "security" would be the right place? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Once you are happy with your package, submit it to a devel project. After you send it to a devel project, and it is accepted, you can send it to Factory. There's no need to request a project for this, it is a package only. Some devel projects that you can submit are: https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/Virtualization:containers (container-related packages) https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/devel:kubic (kubernetes-related packages) https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/devel:languages:go (golang packages) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1209607 https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1209607#c3 --- Comment #3 from Craig Box <craigb@armosec.io> --- Thanks. My motivation is to have it look like the source is somewhat official. If people see a source of "https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/devel:kubic" there's nothing about it that implies it's built by the Kubescape maintainers. The best option for us to use OBS is therefore to use "home:kubescape", which is what we will do. Consider this a feature request for custom domains support -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
