Anyone can download it from the URL http://titanic.nyme.hu/~nice/kdenetwork3-3.5.7-uwh01.src.rpm in order to build an rpm with a patched krfb. I've already built a test version, and placed it to http://titanic.nyme.hu/~nice/kdenetwork3-vnc-3.5.7-uwh01.i586.rpm It is positively better than the origonal openSUSE 10.3 package, but still not perfect. I tried it with krdc3 (seems to be perfect), krdc4 (krfb sometimes crashes), tightvnc (didn't experience a crash), UltraVNC/Windows (interresting). Connected to by a certain Windows (Vista) UltraVNC client, krfb crashed when my partner tried to move a window. (I was using Xgl) With another Windows UltraVNC client the screen image freezed and totally stopped on the client, krfb didn't crash and it was still possible to control my machine remotely (without seeing the results). So this patch needs testing and further improvements. Thomas, would you download and try it on your machines? Krfb didn't crash, but reported the client to log off. I did so in spite of the fact that the remote user didn't log off intentionally, but experienced a kick off insted (like krfb kicked him off). On one accassion the client saw that the VNC screen "freezed", and although he saw a still image, the mouse pointer was moving on the krfb server. Then he was kicked in the end (as usual), but krfb simly reported him to log off.
