[Bug 220253] New: Support for new AVR devices should be added in cross-avr-gcc
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=220253 Summary: Support for new AVR devices should be added in cross- avr-gcc Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Beta 2 Platform: All OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: Development AssignedTo: pth@novell.com ReportedBy: hnch@gmx.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Since the gcc team is quite slow in adding new devices, FreeBSD developer and avr-gcc maintainer Joerg Wunsch is regularly releasing patches for new devices. These patches can be found in http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/ports/devel/avr-gcc/files/. I have added these patches (except for the libiberty patch) to Factory's cross-avr-gcc package and it simply works beautifully. Is cross-avr-gcc's maintainer willing to do this in future? regards Henning -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

Added them. I wonder what is the best way to learn about updates here. I have been hunting for updates only, when I ran into problems with one of my CPUs. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=220253 ------- Comment #4 from hnch@gmx.net 2006-11-15 11:41 MST ------- The mailing list http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/avr-gcc-list should be first address, Anatoly Sokolov is posting all the patches there, AFAIK. Jörg Wunsch mentioned a mailing list in our email correspondence, I suppose this is the one he meant. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
