Now after MB replacemant it looks better. So I've played with pm for a while and now also wireless works after resume from suspend. /etc/pm/config SUSPEND_MODULES="button ipw3945 snd_seq snd_pcm_oss snd_mixer_oss snd_seq snd_seq_device snd_hda_intel snd_hda_codec snd_pcm snd_timer snd" S2RAM_OPTS="-f -p -m" and added this line in resume part of: /etc/pm/hooks/01logging /etc/init.d/network restart Only thing that doesn't work is sound. Can youadvice me what can I try to make it works after resume (restart some service or what - I'am using KDE -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

That's strange, sound does not work even if you unload/reload the modules? Can you confirm you do not have them muted in alsamixer after reload? Stefan, can we get this machine to the whitelist?

Even more strange - ISTR that it worked for me on the D420 i had here for testing. But i am not sure if i really tested sound after resume. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

I've remowed all modules from whitelist (with exception of "buttons" - as it was originally) and added to the resume section of /etc/pm/hooks/01logging /etc/init.d/network restart /usr/bin/amixer set Master mute /usr/bin/amixer set Master unmute And it works just fine. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

Your networking issue is caused by ipw3945, right? That part is WONTFIX. ..if you drop your amixer set Master [un]mute calls, and drop snd_* modules from unload list, does it help? If yes, then we are done. If not, we need to ask Takashi to fix alsa (for next release) and probably add some amixer set Master [un]mute calls to pm scripts, so this is fixed for other users, too?
