S. <novell@mirell.de> 2007-11-02 12:29:01 MST --- Confirmed even in 10.3. This is an (usability) issue in the TextView component of GTK+; it is just inherited by gedit's sourceview. See "gtk-demo" and try to copy/paste text into the hypertext demo application one time from an external copied text, next time from within the textview's existing text. You'll see correct cursor/scroll adjustment if the text pasted was copied from the actual textview.
