From the log, wpa_supplicant received a EAP-Failure which could be from the AP or the RADIUS server.
Could you try the following step? 1) Connect to the AP manually a. shutdown NetworkManager and wpa_supplicant # rcnetwork stop # killall -15 wpa_supplicant b. add the following lines to test.conf network={ ssid="MORMAIL.COM" key_mgmt=WPA-EAP eap=TTLS PEAP TLS identity="<username>" password="<password>" } c. start wpa_supplicant and collect log # wpa_supplicant -dd -c test.conf -Dnl80211 -iwlan0 | tee wpa.log == 2) Probe the server certificate if 1) works a. the same as 1)-a b. different config network={ ssid="MORMAIL.COM" key_mgmt=WPA-EAP eap=TTLS PEAP TLS identity=" " ca_cert="probe://" } c. start wpa_supplicant and collect log # wpa_supplicant -dd -c test.conf -Dnl80211 -iwlan0 | tee wpa-probe.log -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

From the log, wpa_supplicant worked fine with the setting. You didn't get an IP because the dhcp client didn't start, and it's NetworkManager's job.
Could you also try the following 2 wpa_supplicant settings to test its probe function? 1) network={ ssid="MORMAIL.COM" key_mgmt=WPA-EAP eap=TTLS PEAP TLS identity=" " ca_cert="probe://" } 2) network={ ssid="MORMAIL.COM" key_mgmt=WPA-EAP eap=TTLS PEAP TLS identity="adam" ca_cert="probe://" } -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
