[Bug 1207919] New: GLIBC missing DL_HASH, needed for Steam
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1207919 Bug ID: 1207919 Summary: GLIBC missing DL_HASH, needed for Steam Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 15.4 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other Assignee: screening-team-bugs@suse.de Reporter: aaronw@doofus.org QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- In their infinite wisdom, GLibC 2.36 disabled support for DT_HASH, leaving only DT_GNU_HASH. This broke many Steam games and anything using EA's anti-cheat software. DT_HASH can be re-enabled if glibc is compiled with --hash-style=both. Can glibc have this re-enabled? Arch Linux readded it due to how it broke this software. I am getting hit with this. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

But SUSE:SLE-15-SP3:Update/glibc ships glibc 2.31. Are actually experiencing this issue when using Steam on Leap 15.4, or are you reporting it by proxy?
