Thanks for checking. Then I have no idea what went wrong, we'll need to dig the PA log to see what's going on there.

Interestingly I haven't heard of any similar issue on Leap 15.2, and probably it's because pulseaudio package was updated on Leap 15.2 (pa 11.1 on Leap 15.1 while pa 13.0 on Leap 15.2).

Since it works without UCM profile, maybe this will be left unfixed; Leap 15.1 will reach EOL in a couple of months, after all...

Nevermind then, I'll leave it as it is, I was going to upgrade to the new Leap in any case. Deleting the UCM profile is a good-enough workaround so that I can freely choose the time to upgrade the machine. I'm closing as "WORKSFORME", by which I mean that the majority of users/developers didn't encounter my problem, so I'm probably seeing some weird corner case or uncommon/broken configuration which isn't worth to spend time investigating. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
