--- Comment #2 from Neil Stalker
These messages are usually from HAL trying to mount the CD. Since audio CDs can't be mounted as file systems, this is expected behavior. Are you not able to interact with the CD otherwise?
I have tried to access the cd banshee, rhythmbox and sound juicer and none of them can see the cd in the drive, only sound juicer returns a message: Sound Juicer could not use the CD-ROM device '/dev/cdrom' HAL daemon may not be running. Ive checked and HAL is running. When i seen the output of dmesg i thought that was the issue but i maybe it is an issue with how these programs communicate with HAL. Is there any debugging commands I can try so i can narrow down where the issue lies? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
