https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=263147 Summary: On shutting down, graphics memory gets overwritten, machine halts Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 3 Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org AssignedTo: sndirsch@novell.com ReportedBy: casualprogrammer@yahoo.com QAContact: sndirsch@novell.com On an FSC Amilo Si1520 running openSuSE 10.3 alpha3 the following happens: On shutting down ( From the GUI = Computer/Logout/Shut down or from a terminal = init 0 ) the upper part of the display gets overwritten with garble and the machine halts indefinitely.
