https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=406604 User robin.listas@telefonica.net added comment https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=406604#c1 --- Comment #1 from Carlos Robinson <robin.listas@telefonica.net> 2008-07-08 06:30:01 MDT --- I noticed that even though Yast claimed failure, and that I clicked "abort", the package shows as installed: cer@nimrodel:~> rpm -q suse-build-key suse-build-key-1.0-772 suse-build-key-1.0-772.3 but the package is duplicated; there was mention of this in the mail lists. I also see you have been active in this respect (libzypp update). I could remove the older package manually, but I suppose many more people will be affected and perhaps you should handle it on your end somehow. More info, just in case: cer@nimrodel:~> rpm -qa -i gpg-pubkey | grep @suse Summary : gpg(SuSE Package Signing Key <build@suse.de>) Summary : gpg(SuSE Package Signing Key <build@suse.de>) Summary : gpg(SuSE Package Signing Key <build@suse.de>) Summary : gpg(SuSE Security Team <security@suse.de>) which are: Version : 9c800aca Vendor: (none) Release : 40d8063e Build Date: Sat 23 Apr 2005 12:50:09 AM CEST Version : 307e3d54 Vendor: (none) Release : 44201d5d Build Date: Fri 16 Feb 2007 01:26:26 PM CET Version : 9c800aca Vendor: (none) Release : 39eef481 Build Date: Sat 26 Jun 2004 12:45:46 AM CEST There is no key dated in 2008 :-? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

With yesterdays released libzypp 10.2-11.0 updates, a zypper lu or zypper up or other repository using operation will update the suse build key on refresh. as for the error and duplication... we had this problem but we thought to have it fixed already. It should also only happen if you modified this keyring yourself., -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
