[Bug 920260] thunderbird crash on startup
http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=920260 Werner Flamme <werner.flamme@ufz.de> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |werner.flamme@ufz.de --- Comment #2 from Werner Flamme <werner.flamme@ufz.de> --- Hi, I got the same problem, since January 21st TB crashes on one of my Tumbleweed hosts, and runs on all others. I did a ulimit -c unlimited, and the resulting core file has the size of 12320768 Bytes, 1421823 Bytes after gzip'ping it. What can I do with this file? Renaming ~/.thunderbird does not change anything. Via desktop, I use "thunderbird -P" to choose the profile on every startup of TB, but the profile chooser does not show up. The last timestamp in my profile directory is from 2015-01-20 15:22, when I shut down the box. On the following day, TB did not start, nor did it any day since then up to today. I tried various TBs from the distro and from the mozilla repo ob OBS. The TB version downloaded directly from mozilla shows the error ---snip--- XPCOMGlueLoad error for file /home/wflamme/donner/thunderbird/libxul.so: libdbus-glib-1.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Couldn't load XPCOM. ---pins--- maybe some 32-bit libraries are missing.
