[Bug 1035338] libstdc++6-devel-gcc6-6.2.1+r239768-5.5.2.x86_64 but no libstdc++6-gcc6-6.2.1+r239768-5.5.2.x86_64

= 6.2.1+r239768-5.5.2, but this requirement cannot be provided uninstallable providers: libstdc++6-6.2.1+r239768-5.5.2.x86_64[opensuse-update] Solution 1: deinstallation of libstdc++6-devel-gcc6-6.2.1+r239768-3.3.x86_64 Solution 2: deinstallation of libstdc++6-gcc6-6.2.1+r239768-3.3.x86_64 Solution 3: do not install patch:openSUSE-2017-404-1.noarch Solution 4: break libstdc++6-devel-gcc6-6.2.1+r239768-5.5.2.x86_64 by ignoring some of its dependencies
I realized something, although the package libstdc++6-gcc6 does not have an update for *5.2.2 version the package libstdc++6 does, but I don't have it installed. Both libstdc++6-gcc6 and libstdc++6 seems to be the exact same thing, could this be a name collision? I installed libstdc++6 which made me uninstall libstdc++6-gcc6 because they were in conflict. I installed also: libasan3-6.2.1+r239768-5.5.2.x86_64 libatomic1-6.2.1+r239768-5.5.2.x86_64 libcilkrts5-6.2.1+r239768-5.5.2.x86_64 libgcc_s1-6.2.1+r239768-5.5.2.x86_64 libgomp1-6.2.1+r239768-5.5.2.x86_64 libitm1-6.2.1+r239768-5.5.2.x86_64 liblsan0-6.2.1+r239768-5.5.2.x86_64 libmpx2-6.2.1+r239768-5.5.2.x86_64 libmpxwrappers2-6.2.1+r239768-5.5.2.x86_64 libtsan0--6.2.1+r239768-5.5.2.x86_64 libubsan0-6.2.1+r239768-5.5.2.x86_64 which unintstalled: libasan3-gcc6-6.2.1+r239768-3.3.x86_64 libatomic1-gcc6-6.2.1+r239768-3.3.x86_64 libcilkrts5-gcc6-6.2.1+r239768-3.3.x86_64 libgcc_s1-gcc6-6.2.1+r239768-3.3.x86_64 libgomp1-gcc6-6.2.1+r239768-3.3.x86_64 libitm1-gcc6-6.2.1+r239768-3.3.x86_64 liblsan0-gcc6-6.2.1+r239768-3.3.x86_64 libmpx2-gcc6-6.2.1+r239768-3.3.x86_64 libmpxwrappers2-gcc6-6.2.1+r239768-3.3.x86_64 libtsan0-gcc6-6.2.1+r239768-3.3.x86_64 libubsan0-gcc6-6.2.1+r239768-3.3.x86_64 And that fixed the problem, I did zypper patch and the update went fine. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
