[Bug 989041] New: Characters in Konsole change to symbols when using backspace
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=989041 Bug ID: 989041 Summary: Characters in Konsole change to symbols when using backspace Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.2 Hardware: x86-64 OS: SUSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE Applications Assignee: opensuse-kde-bugs@opensuse.org Reporter: Greg.Freemyer@gmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Using Leap 42.2 Alpha 2. If I open a konsole window I often get strange symbols instead of the charters I type. Only the line where I'm typing is impacted. I believe at least one trigger of the behavior is if I type a backspace. After I hit return the characters are restored to the proper font. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Also, does the font have an impact? Have you got any input methods like ibus or fcitx running in the background? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
