This is supposed to be a vista only card so what they did was to change the id of the card and pronto! the b revision. The new id is 0x8197 but works exactly like 0x8189. I even found a dude who coded a patched module for that one. http://www.datanorth.net/~cuervo/rtl8187b/ This one i tested and works ok. Ndis wrapper does fucko for this card on x86-64 but supposedly works on i586. It would be nice if you released this change in the default kernels as a vast number of vista only laptops have this card. In particular Hope this helps.
