[Bug 920260] thunderbird crash on startup
http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=920260 --- Comment #3 from Ulrich Hiller <hiller@mpia-hd.mpg.de> --- Hi, in the meantime i reinstalled the whole system with an ext4 file system (before:btrfs), but no change. I let gdb run and got: [New LWP 3674] Reading symbols from /usr/lib64/thunderbird/thunderbird-bin...Reading symbols from /usr/lib/debug/usr/lib64/thunderbird/thunderbird-bin.debug...done. done. warning: Ignoring non-absolute filename: <linux-vdso.so.1> Missing separate debuginfo for linux-vdso.so.1 Try: zypper install -C "debuginfo(build-id)=28a502525a5168b3404fcfcde77f2c203ddd9ec8" [Thread debugging using libthread_db enabled] Using host libthread_db library "/lib64/libthread_db.so.1". Core was generated by `/usr/lib64/thunderbird/thunderbird-bin'. Program terminated with signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault. #0 strtok_r () at ../sysdeps/x86_64/strtok.S:186 186 ../sysdeps/x86_64/strtok.S: No such file or directory. (gdb) quit Does it give a clue? I have some questions: The suggested zypper install -C "debuginfo(build-id)=28a502525a5168b3404fcfcde77f2c203ddd9ec8" gives me: No provider of 'debuginfo(build-id)=28a502525a5168b3404fcfcde77f2c203ddd9ec8' found. ['--plus-content debug'?] Which repo is it? Is this the real problem? How cam i fix it? #0 strtok_r () at ../sysdeps/x86_64/strtok.S:186 186 ../sysdeps/x86_64/strtok.S: No such file or directory. ulrich -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
